Gov't

One thing got my attention more than others as I read this article "Bush's spending blueprint for the 2007 budget year that begins Oct. 1 would provide large increases for the military and homeland security." I'm simply amazed sometimes when I sit and think of what we could accomplish in this country if education and health care took precedence over the military, "Sorry Johnny, you can't fit in that classroom, there's already 38 other students in there because the President thinks we need to ignore greater attrocities in Africa to fight a war in an oil rich country ran by someone with a personal vendetta against the Bush family."
